LONG STORY SHORT is an off beat lovestory told through 8 chapters. It is a story about two geeky anti-heroes – the clumsy surgeon Ellen and the pride laddish Max, who through the eight individual stories meet at eight widly different parties. From the first spontanious intense meeting and their following fight, while the bells stroke twelve, two awkwardly affected protagonist have to go through, a 40-year birtdayparty, a wedding, a baptism, a surpise-party and a candiddate party, until they then can surrender themselves to eachother at a wake in the final chapter of the movie.

LONG STORY SHORT is a litigius, character worn comedy told in eight main scenes, through eight parties. The stories practice the details of the parties and the rituals within the parties.

LONG STORY SHORT is a story about beleiving in love to be a rational choice between the most suitable candidates. But as the anti-heroes will experience love is far from rational, but is controlled by lust and destiny.
