Christoffer Boe, Director

In the second season of FACE TO FACE, psychologist Susanne (47) faces a life in ruins after the death of her daughter and her ex-husband, Bjørn, facing trial accused of killing the colleague he believed murdered their daughter. As she desperately tries to keep a normal life and continue her work as a hypno- therapist, a strange man, John, enters her clinic. John wants to quit smoking. During the hypno- therapy he unknowingly reveals himself to be a hitman – killing young girls – the next girl to be terminated tonight.

Before Susanne can get the police to come, John awakens and runs off. She rushes to the Chief of Police, Richard – her ex-husband’s boss and personal friend – to reveal everything. Richard seems both reluctant and eager at the same time and Susanne becomes suspicious of corruption and cover-ups. She understands that there is no help to be found from the police.

She now finds herself alone on a mission to prevent the killing of the unknown young girl. A journey into a dark and cynical underworld that exists just under the surface of the new Copenhagen, with all its steel and glass. On her journey through the city, she will come face to face with a web of lies, and uncover new truths about the death of her daughter, until she will face her final challenge – risking her own life in order to save the girl’s.
